Native tomato and basil pie a summer specialty at Harry's

Harry's Bishops Corner, the award-winning pizza restaurant, is  offering its highly anticipated fresh native tomato and basil pie, a favorite with customers during the summer and early fall.

Locally grown tomatoes and basil are from the Rosedale Farms in Simsbury. Owner Kevin Plaut said, "We use only the finest ingredients on our pizza and are fortunate to have such excellent produce locally grown.  Plus, we are thrilled to be supporting local agriculture."

Harry's Bishops Corner will continue to feature the fresh tomato and basil pizza until early October. The signature pizza is a white pie made with mozzarella cheese, native tomatoes, fresh basil, asiago and pecorino Romano cheese garnish, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Harry's Bishops Corner is open Tuesday through Sunday. For more information call Harry's  Bishops Corner at 860.236.0400 or go to www.harrybc.com.
