West Hartford Resident takes flight with the U.S. Air Force

Hartford – Martin Magnusson, a West Hartford resident participated in the Westover Air Reserve Base 2012 "Operation Bosslift" last June. 

Martin, an attorney in Wiggin and Dana's Defense, OFAC and Export Compliance Practice Group, joined thirty employers and business and community leaders on a flight aboard the Air Force's largest aircraft, the C-5 Galaxy. Once at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, the group toured the Lockheed Martin facilities where C‑5s are overhauled and C-130s are manufactured, tested aircraft simulators and night-vision technology, and received briefings on cutting-edge military technology, including the Air Force's fifth-generation stealth fighter, the F-22 Raptor.
