New England Financial Group donates to National MS Society

Douglas Gordon, a financial representative with New England Financial Group, and Jim Marlor, a managing partner of New England Financial Group, present a check for $2,500 to Lisa Gerrol, president of the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter.

New England Financial Group was recently recognized by the 2012 MetLife Good Business Practice Community Award Program, which honors American businesses, such as New England Financial Group, for outstanding business practices. Established in 1908, New England Financial Group, a MetLife company, is committed to providing a diverse array of client-tailored products and services. The MetLife recognition included the opportunity to designate a charity beneficiary. Douglas Gordon, longtime friend of Glastonbury resident Peter Rusconi, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004, nominated the Hartford-based National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter. Gordon is an active supporter of the National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, annually contributing to the efforts of Rusconi and his Bike MS fundraising team, Cardio Express.  New England Financial Group is located at 17 North Main Str. in West Hartford.
