Why did President Obama win re-election? Did he and Governor Romney run smart campaigns? What was the role of demographic changes in America? What role, if any, did luck play and what does all this presage for the 2014 midterm election and future Presidential elections?
Why did Senator-elect Chris Murphy defeat Linda McMahon? Who ran the better campaign and what role, if any, did sexism play? Will Democrats keep the Senate and Republicans keep the House in 2014? Moving forward, will President Obama and a divided Congress manage to find a way to forge meaningful and productive compromises to address our ever pressing problems?
Dr. Ken Long earned his Ph.D. from The University at Albany, an M.P.A. from Syracuse University, and a B.A. from The University at Albany.
