West Hartford residents receive employment honors

Hartford, CT March- At a recent luncheon, several associates were recognized for outstanding performance in the month of January. Margaret Kovacs, head cafeteria cook, is the Heart of the House winner for January. She was recently promoted to overseeing the associate cafeteria food for both the daytime and the evening meal periods.
"Margaret takes great pride in the food she prepares each day for our staff. Many of the items she makes are homemade recipes, and she ensures that all of the associates have everything they need,"  said Michael Albarella, guest service supervisor. Kovacs is a resident of West Hartford and has been with the hotel since 2005.

 Allyson Capsolas, guest service associate, is the Front of the House winner for January. Capsolas has only been with the hotel since July of 2012, but has quickly mastered her role as guest service agent.

"Allyson came to us from another Marriott property with great knowledge of the hotel systems and excellent customer service skills," said Albarella.  

 The Associate of the Month Award is given to associates who have demonstrated skills and job knowledge above and beyond the expectations of their managers and/or peers.
