SNACT 2012-2013 officers announcement

The School Nutrition Association of Connecticut announced the newly elected officers for 2012-2013. West Hartford Public Schools Food Service Director Trish Malloy was elected President Elect of the Association, which is committed to advancing good nutrition for children and providing healthful meals and nutritional education to students throughout Connecticut. 

The new officers and their respective school districts are:  

President: Susan Maffe, MS, RD, SNS of Meriden

President-Elect: Trish Malloy, RD, of West Hartford,       

Vice President: Abby Kassman-Harned of Tolland,

Treasurer: Jim Bondi, SNS of Plainville, and;

Secretary: Ernie Koschmieder of Windham  

Former SNACT President, Roberta Jacobs of Norwich Public School System stated, "This is an exciting time for the SNACT organization. We are honored to have Trish serving as President Elect along with our other newly elected members now serving in officer positions. We look forward to their continued dedication and commitment towards providing quality and nutritious lunches for the thousands of students across Connecticut."
