Families can attend College Goal Sunday at hall High School

On January 27, students and their families can attend College Goal Sunday and work with financial aid counselors and college staff in person from 1:30 to 4:30PM at Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut.  In a single afternoon, students and their families will receive assistance filling out financial aid forms and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA.

Students who are first general or low income are encouraged to attend.  We will also assistant any family who needs help.  Participating in College Goal Sunday gives students and families a great first step on the pathway to college.  It provides an opportunity to learn about preparing for college and financial aid in a comfortable setting.

Students have the opportunity to receive help with this difficult and confusing process of financial aid.  It is recommended that students register on the website, www.collegegoalsundayct.org.

I guess motivations like this for academic achievement plays a vital role in being successful in college. I guess it depends on the student's reasons to go to college. http://www.elearners.com/education-in-the-news/will-your-reasons-for-attending-college-affect-how-well-you-do/
