HARC annual walk a big success

HARTFORD - HARC, an organization serving people with intellectual and related disabilities, held it's 8t Annual Walk recently at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. The non-competitive event brought together over 400 of HARC's clients, staff, families, volunteers and community supporters. Proceeds from the Walk will be directed to HARC's programs that help families and individuals face the daily challenge of intellectual and related disabilities.

Event co-chairs Susan Staunton and Greg Calnen along with event host Jeff Saperstone of NBC Connecticut, East Hartford Mayor Marcia Leclerc and the UConn Huskies Men's Ice Hockey team all greeted the crowd.
