Girls still can register for Girl Scouts for 2013

Girls of all age levels are invited to check out what Girl Scouting is all about! There are still spaces available for girls to sign up to be a Girl Scout and go on an incredible journey of self-discovery, fun, and making new friends.

Girls will experience the many benefits of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, where girls discover themselves and the world around them, connect with others locally and globally, and take action to make the world a better place. A variety of fun experiences await new Girl Scouts, including fun activities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM); learning about how to build healthy relationships with our signature anti-bullying program, Girlz R.U.L.E.®; and learning healthy habits and building their self-esteem in our Live Healthy, Lead Healthy programming. Of course, new Girl Scouts have the opportunity to participate in the ongoing Cookie Program, summer camp, outdoor excursions, and much more.

As you open the door for the girl in your life to discover all of what Girl Scouts has to offer, consider joining the Girl Scout movement yourself. Volunteering a bit of your time or becoming a Troop Leader can make a big difference. It is also a great way to spend quality time with your special girl!
