Iron Maidens raise funds for great cause

Members of the Iron Maidens MS Motorcycle Ride fundraising team flex some muscle while at the 2012 NBC Connecticut MS Motorcycle Ride held recently at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford.

Since its inception in 2007, the team has raised more than $45,000 to support the fight against multiple sclerosis, a potentially debilitating disease for which there is no cure.

The 2012 NBC Connecticut Motorcycle Ride offered two satellite start locations, one in Norwalk and one at Gengras Harley-Davidson in East Hartford.

The ride attracted hundreds of riders from throughout Connecticut. For more information on National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter, events, services and programs, visit www.ctfightsMS.org.
