Women's club awards scholarships

The Suburban Woman's  Club of West Hartford awarded two $1,000 scholarships to the following high school seniors: Cassidy Grinsell, Hall High School and Megan E. Cote, Conard High School.

The club, which will be celebrating its 60th year, has been actively involved in raising the $2,000 needed for these scholarships and to fund other needy causes such as the West Hartford Food Bank, Americares, Camp Courant, Connecticut Canine Search and Rescue and Connecticut Department of Veterans' Affairs.
